Why do you suppose that in a time of such great spiritual ascension, so many people are suffering physical afflictions?
Your body – as the vehicle of your spirit – has a monumental task of keeping you moving through daily life as your consciousness continually expands. Although expansion is not a physical process, it does bring about changes and challenges to the physical body. You may have noticed, as your work your process that your tastes have changed in a variety of ways, including food and drink, music, movies and tolerance to violence and drama. As we progress through our awakening we may have realizations about limitlessness of our beings that create feelings of restriction in the physical body. It is part of the experience we agreed upon in coming to earth to embody a physical vessel.
So, as you go about doing your spiritual and emotional work, you can make life much easier on the physical plane by including your body in the process. As the vibrational frequency of the planet continues to rise our bodies are becoming more sensitive to our environment, especially chemicals in our food, electromagnetic frequencies and negativity and drama.
Many of the children who have come to this earth in the last decade or so, came here with elevated vibrational frequencies, meaning they were more sensitive to these things at birth. Now we are seeing evidence of this in the form of astronomical spikes in childhood diabetes, ADD, ADHD, allergies and many other afflictions including Autism. Most of these children experience amazingly beneficial results from simple things like diet change and reduction of negativity and violence in their daily lives. As adults, some of the ways we can assist the body through these changes is by switching to all organic food, taking steps to reduce EMF exposure and eliminating unnecessary negativity and drama in our daily lives as well.
Food journaling is especially effective in helping you determine what actually agrees and disagrees with your body. Replacing evening television with an hour of stretching, yoga and meditation yields amazing results for those of you who are feeling wound up at the end of the day.
Most people believe this is easier said than done, but once they give it a try, it easily becomes the normal routine, because it eases the stress on the body. Gentle movement increases circulation and oxygenation of the blood, moves synovial fluid through joints and the spine and stretching relieves tight muscles. That’s what makes an evening yoga routine the perfect thing for relaxation. And if done away from tv and computers it is a welcome relief from EMF exposure as well.
It is helpful at this point to include a short meditative period to your routine. Sit quietly and consult your intuition. By that I mean – ask your body self. Sit quietly, take some deep, belly breaths, relax and send love to yourself. Ask the body what it needs. This can bring surprising insights. People report that right away they receive thoughts and ideas. If you can restrain the ego from making you believe that the intuitive answer ‘just can’t be right’ , then you’re on your way to ‘knowing’ your answer. The intuitive answer is the beginning of the path of change that will be most beneficial to the body. It also might be the one most resisted by the mind. So the next challenge becomes taking action!
Because the desired outcome is to live harmoniously in the physical body, baby steps are the best choice for beginning lasting change. What small thing can you do to put you in line with the change your body is asking for? Whatever your intuitive answer is, that is where you begin.
The next step is to regularly evaluate your progress and add to your change. The whole idea is to progress and it’s not a race. Everyone on this planet is on their evolutional path, we are all right where we are supposed to be at any give time. You may feel you do not move along fast enough, but if you stay present in the moment of each event and ask yourself what is to be learned or gained from this event you will receive the necessary tools to move you to the next step. Eventually you will find that you have achieved the change you desired and most people go well beyond that by continually ‘checking in’ with the body to determine what comes next. During this process you will find that many things have dropped away, almost effortlessly, unnoticed and certainly not missed.
One client felt she needed to release her dependency on coffee to help her overcome persistent anxiety. Slowly she reduced the amount she drank daily, and then began skipping days. Upon evaluation she noticed that not only did the anxiety lessen considerable, but so did her insomnia. Another client felt he should reduce dairy to help clear allergies. Two months later the allergies were much lessened and his frequent headaches were gone. He asked himself what he could do to rid himself completely of allergies and realized further diet modifications were in order.
So you say, “I’ve been asking and just don’t get any answers.” Sometimes the ego has such a strong hold on the mind that messages aren’t delivered or they are misconstrued, leaving you confused. This is where professional coaching can help. Coaches specialize in helping break through the resistance you impose upon yourself and keep you clearly focused on your desired outcome.
Look at it this way; Your body is the vehicle of your spirit. It is what you ride around in during your human experience on this earth. When it is well maintained and fine tuned you are in touch with your intuitive guidance. You are joyous and energetic. You become familiar with the signals from the body for change or assistance.
Have you ever become so familiar with your car that you can tell if the motor isn’t running just correctly? You know what happens when you ignore that motor and continue driving, right? It becomes inconvenient, costly and even painful. Well then, think of your body like your car. If it’s not running well it’s trying to tell you something through the symptoms it’s giving you.
Like your car, when it’s sputtering and getting poor gas mileage, if you are receiving these kinds of symptoms from your body, now is the time to perform a metaphorical tune up before a breakdown happens.
